A Fox's First Step

     A fox might as well start somewhere; I will start here. I am Nova Luehrs. I refer to myself as a fox. The reason for that is still being decided upon. I'm 17 years old and have been collecting nail polish ever since I borrowed a neon orange nail polish from a friend I met at the Rec Center, wore it home, and tried for the entire evening to hide it from my mum. (I failed to notice she'd seen it already and didn't mind a bit.) This part of the story begins a bit more recently.
     Nail polish for me is a hobby. A way to pass the time and a way to keep my mind off the less lovely things in life. Until last year (2012) I hadn't really begun my collection in a serious way. I bought pretty nail polish here and there but nothing like I do now. (I had to buy a polish rack just to keep them off my shelves!) My favourite polish brands are (in no particular order): Color Club, Sinful Color, China Glaze & OPI. My favourite polishes from my own collection might just be my next post. ;) 
     I am starting a nail blog because I have an obsession. One that I would like to share. I find there are many nail blogs but I wish to show my own side of the nail world's story. This blog will take you (and I) on a journey through the discoveries and wonders of the world of nail polish as I see it. I will show you my favourite polishes, new manicures, inspirations and more as this blog grows! I hope you will join me along the way.
